Food52 recognizes talented home cooks by giving them a place to show off their work; it is a place where cooks of all kinds come to be inspired and engaged in lively conversation.

Avec was approached to help visually and conceptually define this experience, crafting strategies that would overhaul the original user experience from a simple recipe search site to one that demonstrates the engaged, hub of activity that is the Food52 community. The project also included an iPhone application for the Food52 Hotline, which is a forum for users to ask and answer food related questions.
